👋 About

Hi, I'm Joy.

Analyst/Engineer by day. Cook, worshipper, hiker, and slow-transformation enthusiast the rest of the time.

yes, the project is named after me 😄

By nine in the morning I'm usually elbow-deep in a dashboard, Power BI, SQL, Excel, the whole Analyst/Engineer toolkit. I genuinely love it. There's something almost pastoral about taking a mess of numbers and helping people finally see what's true.

But the spreadsheets are only a third of the story. By evening I'm in the kitchen chasing a higher-protein version of something my family already loves. On weekends I'm on a trail before the sun is, or singing louder than I should in the car on the way to church.

I grew up between two languages, my prayers still switch between English and Telugu depending on how urgent they are. That in-between is where Project Joy comes from: a home for everything I'm learning, built on one belief, ordinary people become extraordinary one meaningful step at a time.

I almost called this Planet Joy. It sounded lovely until I pictured what it promised: some other world you visit when this one gets heavy, where happiness is already sitting there waiting for you. That is not what joy looks like to me. Life has good days and hard ones, grief and growth, waiting, mistakes, and plenty of ordinary Tuesdays. A project is different. A project is something you keep working on, something that is never quite finished, something you come back to. So this is Project Joy: the ongoing attempt to notice joy, make room for it, and choose it where I can, one day at a time. Not a place where I teach you to be happy. More like, I am still figuring this out too, and you are welcome to read over my shoulder.

I don't know what brought you here today. Maybe curiosity. Maybe you're chasing a dream. Maybe life feels heavy right now.

Whatever it is, thank you for spending a little time with me. I genuinely hope something here reminded you that growth doesn't happen all at once. It happens one joyful step at a time.
